What a CBR Construction Stage Inspections Covers
Our construction inspection package is designed to align with the HIA and MBA residential building contracts commonly used throughout the ACT and NSW, giving you peace of mind at each critical payment stage.
There are several stages during construction where an inspection may be worthwhile. Not all stages require one, but the recommended stages generally align with standard HIA and MBA progress payment milestones and are strongly advised. Inspecting at these stages means defects or non compliant work can be identified and rectified before you release progress payments, and before the next stage of work begins.
Inspections are carried out in person by a licensed builder with over 15 years in residential construction, someone who has built these homes and knows exactly what good work looks like at each stage.
You can book individual stage inspections or one of the packages below, which bundle the recommended stages at a discount.
Individual stage inspections start at $495 each, including GST. Packages are available at $1,700 for four recommended stages (individually $1,980) and $3,000 for all seven (individually $3,465). Practical Completion and 90 Day Defect inspections are $575 once off. A firm quote is provided before booking.
