What a CBR Pre-Purchase Inspection Covers
Our ACT pre purchase inspection combines the two reports most buyers need before committing to a property in Canberra: a building condition report and a pest inspection, carried out together in one visit.
The building condition report is carried out in person by a licensed builder with over 15 years in residential construction, assessing the structural condition of the property against AS 4349.1. The pest inspection covers timber pests, termites, borers and wood decay, carried out to AS 4349.3.
Thermal imaging is used alongside the visual inspection to check for issues that are not visible to the naked eye, such as moisture behind walls and defects hidden beneath finished surfaces.
Because CBR works independently of agents and builders, every finding is reported as it is, giving you the full picture before you commit to a price.
